iThenticate plagiarism detection database, which is used to determine the similarity rate of articles, will be moved to new interface, iThenticate 2.0 on 9 June 2025. Therefore, access to the database will be temporarily unavailable on June 9, 2025. 

After the updates are completed (as of 9 June 2025), all iThenticate users will receive an automatic email from noreply@turnitin.com.

Accounts must be activated via the email that will be sent. iThenticate users can access the database through metu.turnitin.com, after activating their accounts. All files belonging to users with active accounts will be automatically transferred to the new platform.
