As of Date 15 April 2025, the submission of printed copies of Master's and Doctoral theses to the METU Library is no longer required. The Library will only accept electronic copies of theses.

This change aims to:

• Enhance the accessibility of theses archived in OpenMETU,

   

• Reduce the financial burden on students associated with preparing printed theses,

   

• Ensure more efficient and secure access controls,

   

• Enable more efficient use of the Library's physical spaces.

   

Master's and Doctoral theses, with all required signatures (excluding those of the Institute Director and thesis supervisor), must be uploaded to OpenMETU following the steps outlined in the E-Thesis Upload Guide.
