Springer Nature -TÜBİTAK Read and Publish Agreement Remaining Quotas

Within the scope of the Springer Nature – TÜBİTAK Read & Publish Agreement, a national quota is applied.

According to the announcement communicated by TÜBİTAK, as of June 24, 2026, only 45 articles remain available within the national Article Processing Charge (APC) quota for the year 2026, and it is anticipated that the remaining quota will be exhausted within a few days.

Article submissions allocated to the TÜBİTAK account are evaluated based on the submission date and the order in which they are received in the system. Articles submitted after the quota has been exhausted will not be eligible for approval.

Authors of these articles may publish their work as open access by paying the Article Processing Charge (APC). Alternatively, if the journal is a hybrid journal, they may choose to publish their articles as closed access without paying an APC. For journals that transition from the hybrid model to a fully open access (gold open access) model during the agreement period, the option to publish as closed access is not available. In such cases, the APC must be paid by the authors.
