Our University will provide open access (APC) support, limited to a total of 20 publications, for articles accepted by December 31, 2026, in WoS JIF Q1 journals indexed in SCIE, SSCI, or AHCI, regardless of publisher, provided that the corresponding author is a faculty member of our institution and no open access support is available for the publication under the relevant research project.
Quota usage is based on application order (first come, first served).

The METU-affiliated author must be the corresponding author of the article.

The institutional e-mail address (metu.edu.tr) must be used.

Both the institutional affiliation and the department must be clearly stated in thepublication.

Authors affiliated with METU Research Centers must indicate both METU and Department they are affiliated with in the article.
The Article Processing Charge (APC) for publications must first be paid by the author to the publisher; for publications that meet the criteria, the APC amount will be reimbursed to the author by our University. In this regard, the corresponding author must submit the publication details to ekaynak@metu.edu.tr so that the APC support application can be submitted to university management for approval.
Support is provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
