According to the announcement communicated by TÜBİTAK, the 2026 quota under the Springer Nature – TÜBİTAK Read & Publish Agreement has been fully used.
Therefore, APC (Article Processing Charge) support will not be provided by TÜBİTAK for the remainder of the year.
For authors whose manuscripts are currently under editorial review, if their articles are accepted: if the journal is hybrid, the article may be published as closed access without payment of the APC; if the journal is gold open access, the article may be published as open access provided that the APC is paid by the authors. For journals that convert from a hybrid model to a fully open access (gold open access) model during the agreement period, the option to publish as closed access is not available; therefore, the APC must be covered by the authors.
