ISO 9001: 2008 Quality Management System

Directorate of Library and Documentation started ISO 9001: 2008 Quality Management System Certification process on July 07th, 2011 and was certificated on April 25th, 2012. Identification of user information needs, selection of resources, acquisition, cataloging, classification, user services, reference services, national and international collaboration activities are carried out by ODTÜ Library in accordance with “ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System” standards. In ODTÜ Library, Quality Management System is established, the documentation is completed and the mechanisms are implemented to ensure ongoing improvement in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2008. ISO qualification has been a very important step towards our goal to meet and exceed the requirements of our users.
